Little is known about the one called The Northerner. Appearing for the first time in recent history at the center of a giant chasm with little idea of who he was or where he came from, his only companion: a large stone battle axe strapped to his back. Wandering this new modern world seemed to confuse and bewilder The Northerner; he took to spending countless solo hours in the libraries of modern man The Northerner began to search for any hints into his own past. He poured over tomes of knowledge retaining much of it but mysteriously forgetting any semblance of information related to his mysterious past. His biggest surprise came when he was searching a history book and found a four centuries old painting of himself laying siege to a small and hostile village somewhere in the Northern region of Canada. He later would find proof of himself taking part in many of the greatest known and unknown conflicts throughout history. Expecting to find more of the same, he found one last picture of himself accompanying Frederick Albert Cook on the first expedition to the North Pole, where it is assumed he stayed, died and returned. The Northerner still has many questions about his past and his ultimate destiny. Whether he is to raze humanity to the ground or become one of it's most legendary defenders he knows without doubt that his answers will be found in the Northlands. |
